Preventative Maintenance
At Astro Heating and Air Conditioning we understand that regular maintenance is imperative for optimal performance and the longevity of your HVAC system. That is why we highly encourage all of our clients to have their system regularly serviced with our Preventative Maintenance Service which includes but is not limited to the following items:

- Inspect all of the following: Condensation Pump, Condenser Coil & Evaporative Coil (as applicable), Contactor Points, Unit Capacitor, Low Voltage Wiring, Electrical Connections, Line Sets, Condensation Lines (both primary & secondary lines) (clean as necessary), Charging Ports or any refrigerant leaks, Blower Motor & Fan Motor, Disconnect Box and all associated connections, Thermostat, Refrigerant levels, Contactors and Relays
- Adjust any ventilation concerns & oil all bearings and motors
- Clean and/or replace standard filters as needed (specialty filters are an extra charge)
- Check amperage on blower motor & fan motor (as applicable) and on compressor
- Measure cooling temperature split
- Test entire system at completion of service for proper operation
Repair Service
From time to time your system could falter causing a malfunction and a system shut-down. When that happens Astro Heating and Air Conditioning will send one of our skilled technicians to trouble shoot and resolve the problem, whether it is a simple adjustment or replacing a component Astro will get your system up and running again. Additionally, all of Astro’s technicians are supported while they are in the field by the owner who has over 40 years of training and field experience to address and resolve any repair situation.
